Fans, and Gfan

I would like to use the application "fan". It isn't in the current release (2.9.9) but apparently is in the svn -- which I don't have access to.

I need it to open files made by Gfan (http://www.math.tu-berlin.de/~jensen/so ... /gfan.html), which is supposed to be possible. As apparently the Gfan interface worked with Polymake in the past, before Polymake used the xml format, perhaps there might be an earlier version of Polymake that would work? Which should I use, and where can I find it?

Currently you can still download the preview of the next version that we produced for our recent workshop. It contains the application fan. Note however that this application is still incomplete and some computations may fail or produce wrong results.

Unfortunately the interface doesn't seem to work well, but that seems to be the way GFan produces xml, and not polymake's fault.
