Hi there,

could you please tell us the exact gcc version number? (via gcc -v).
You might want to try a different (newer) version of gcc.

Hey there,

we are already aware of that. MacOS updates are often breaking something. So all I can say at the moment is that we are working on it and are hoping to fix that on the next developer meeting in december: http://www.polymake.org/doku.php/workshop1214

But we cannot promise anything.

without modifying lrs, I don't see how this would work. Even with beneath and beyond you would have to modify the core of that algorithm.
Meaning: this is not possible from the polymake shell.

There is something called perldebug: http://perldoc.perl.org/perldebug.html
it is not an IDE. But you can step through perl code, and check the value of certain variables, etc.
