Re: 5-dim 0/1 polytopes

Hello, is there any update on 0/1 polytopes db? In particular I am searching for the list of 0/1 5d polytopes (in any format). Querying the database of Aichholzer http://www.ist.tugraz.at/aichholzer/research/rp/rcs/info01poly only returns < 1000 0/1 equiv. classes over a total of 1228158 classes. Th...

Controlled convex hull computation in polymake

Hello, does polymake give the choise to control the course of the convex hull algorithm? That is, can I stop the convex hull algorithm before computing all the facets? I guess this is doable with the polymake beneath and beyond. But I need to use gift wrapping algorithms? Could I for example stop lr...

Re: question about compiling polymake in ubuntu 14.04

Hello. Thanks for your reply! The answer is yes, "CsharedFlags := -fPIC" is contained. I make clean and then make all but I still got the same error. However, I managed to compile the polymake Perpetual Beta, so I am ok with it! (nauty is replaced by bliss and this probably fixes my proble...

question about compiling polymake in ubuntu 14.04

Hello, I'm trying to compile polymake 2.13-1 on an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and get the following error. g++ -shared -L/usr/local/lib -fstack-protector -o ../../lib/graph.so GraphIso.o ../../staticlib/nauty/libnauty.a -lmpfr -lgmp -lpthread /usr/bin/ld: ../../staticlib/nauty/libnauty.a(naugraph.o): relocati...

beneath-and-beyond change of order

Hello, I would like to use Beneath-and_Beyond algorithm in polymake and change the order of the inserted points. As far as I know I can use it with prefer 'beneath_beyond'; but how can I change/control the order? Moreover, can I print the number of full-dim cells in the resulting placing triangulati...

Can I visualize the net of a 4d polytope in polymake?

Hello,
is there any polymake client to compute and visualize the net of a 4d polytope, say P, in polymake? That is, a complex of 3d-polytopes (facets of P) which can be folded to P.

Thanks a lot,
Vissarion

Mapping between faces of triangulation and faces of polytope

Hello, I have a question regarding triangulations of point configurations and polytopes in polymake. Assume we have a point configuration $pc and $Q is its convex hull (represented by a polytope) in polymake. For example: $pc=new PointConfiguration<Rational> (POINTS=>[[1,0,0],[1,1,2],[1,4,2],[1,2,1]...
