Please try homogenizing your points: polytope > $S = new fan::SubdivisionOfPoints(POINTS=>ones_vector | $M,WEIGHTS=>$w); Similar to the corresponding properties for Polytope, PointConfiguration and PolyhedralComplex; the POINTS of a SubdivisionOfPoints need to be homogenized explicitly.
