Re: Issues solving an LP

@opfer: Thanks for the detailed response. I understand that.
For your problem, I found 240 feasible assignments for the integer variables
Can you elaborate on how were you able to find the 240 feasible solutions/assignments for the integer variables?

Re: Issues solving an LP

@joswig: your response certainly clarifies the issue. Can this solution be converted to something like "x13 = 0, x31 = 1,....." i.e. in terms of the variables and its corresponding value? On the side note, it seems (I can be wrong here) like the number of entities in the solution are more ...

Issues solving an LP

Hello team, I have a MIP in the file, untitled.lp that is attached. I have used 'lp2poly' to load the problem into Polymake. This MIP has both 0/1 binary variables, as well as continuous variables with their respective ranges. I'm not sure why I'm getting warnings in finding the MINIMAL_SOLUTION of ...

Re: Trouble interpreting the output (facets of a polytope)

this will be fixed in the next release. Can I please know when should I accept the next release? For the time being, you would have to enforce the LP type during file import I have tried this but facets as reflected in the "output.lp" file still aren't in terms of the originally used vari...

Re: Trouble interpreting the output (facets of a polytope)

My apologies for not being clear enough in the first place. PFA the input and output files as requested.

Please note that I'm using this example just to describe the problem I'm facing with the interpretation.

I sincerely appreciate your time once again!

Trouble interpreting the output (facets of a polytope)

I'm working on interpreting the facets of the polytope. I entered the polytope using the "lp2poly" command and it gave me the facets in the forms of 0s & 1s. Is there a way I can get the output (facets) in the form of same variables as I input in the formulation? FYI, I tried using pri...

Re: Error in reading a .lp file using lp2poly

Thank you so much for your time & effort. The Polymake was able to read the corrected file you have attached. FYI, I have manually created this text file (i.e. manually entered the lp in the file) in the jupyter notebook & later saved it as a ".lp" file so that I can create a corre...

Error in reading a .lp file using lp2poly

I'm trying to create a polytope from a lp given in untitled.lp . It's giving me an error ERROR: /Applications/polymake.app/Contents/Resources/polymake/bin/polymake: invalid expression in input line '   C3: x#31 + x#41 + x#51 + x#61 + x#71 ' at /Applications/polymake.app/Contents/Resources/polymake...
